Last Good Rolling Stones Song?

What’s the last good Rolling Stones tune? Billy and Dad nominate “Waiting on a Friend.” Plus, there’s a great solo by the last great true jazz man Sonny Rollins, who ably refigures his style for soul/rock. Does anybody have a better suggestion?

I’m not sure if it counts, but their cover of “Champagne and Reefer” isn’t bad either…
Billy loves when Keith blows his cigarette out of his mouth. Dad dedicates it to Anti-Drug Week at Hoover.

One Response to Last Good Rolling Stones Song?

  1. Bill says:

Is the cut-off Tattoo You? If so, pretty difficult one. There are a lot of really cool Keef songs (solo), and great Keef riffs on the latter-day Stones songs, but no excellent Rolling Stones songs (post Tattoo). How about, for argument’s sake, “Love is Strong” from Voodoo Lounge? If it was another band would it be considered a really good song? Who knows. I kind of like it.

By the way, I love the live one w/Buddy Guy. I had never seen it. Thanks.
