Songs I’m Into

I’ve been in a mood for country music lately – hankering for clear, decent lyrics, which are oddly hard to come by. The song I’m playing most right now is “Mendocino County Line” by Willie Nelson with Lee Ann Womack. The video is pretty uneven. I myself like it when they’re riding horses on the city streets.

I’ve been playing one of my favorites a lot, Bonnie Raitt’s version of the John Prine classic.

And Merle Haggard! I love this song “Today I Started Lovin’ You Again.” Here’s a knockout version with Tammy Wynette.
